*we recommend hanging under cover/roofed area to prevent weathering and to remove candles if hanging directly over the chickens.  While the candles are lightweight, still take caution with anything hanging above your beautiful flock!  Also if hanging above where your chicken graze, reinforce crystals with some simple wire to make sure none come loose. They are attached with chandelier grade wiring and rings, but never take chances!
